SEMESTER 1
This course introduces students to computers and
computing, starting with basic computer terminology, hardware, software,
peopleware, Internet, and security, which helps students gain an understanding
of computers and the impacts of computers in various disciplines.
SEMESTER 1
This course provides students with an introduction to the concept of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a foundational strategy to support inclusive education for students with and without disabilities. The course focuses on the use of multiple means of engagement, representation, and action and expression. It also explores the use of assessment strategies that support a UDL approach, the use of teaching and learning materials, and the application of UDL strategies in large class sizes.
SEMESTER 1
This
is an introductory level course designed to introduce teacher-aspirants or
students to the philosophical foundations of early learning; the Liberian early
childhood development and education context, including relevant Ministry of
Education Liberia frameworks, policies, and recommended practices; inclusive
early childhood learning environments; and play-based approaches to learning.
SEMESTER 1
Examines the historical and philosophical
foundations of Liberia’s school systems. The course will enable students to
learn about the past, present, and future of Liberian education, as well as
issues and trends in the global education system.
SEMESTER 1
This course will introduce students to rhetoric and the foundations of college writing. It
will improve students’ listening, speaking, reading, writing, and
critical-thinking skills. Students will explore the basic concepts of academic
research; interpersonal relationships, small groups, and partnering; and oral,
written, and public communications.
SEMESTER 1
This is an introductory course intended to familiarize the students with the basic concepts of arithmetic, number theory, sets, geometry, algebra, and introductory statistics. In this course, strong emphasis will be placed on critical thinking, problem solving, and understanding concepts and their applications.

Exploration of curriculum and programming for students in kindergarten
through sixth grade with emphasis on children’s developmental, social, physical, emotional, and cognitive
needs as related to appropriate learning experiences.
